The Genre Catalog Template
Every Genre Catalog is authored against a standard template that enforces the section map and reference code discipline. The template includes pre-written structural text (headings, cross-reference boilerplate, override acknowledgments) and leaves only setting-specific content blank.

Catalog Section Discipline
When a Genre Catalog addresses a section that the Core fully covers (e.g., Section 02: Dice Mechanics), the Catalog contains only a single-line acknowledgment:
Section 02: Dice Mechanics is defined in AX.C.02. No Catalog modifications.
This eliminates the temptation to reprint or paraphrase Core text in the Catalog, which is the primary source of version drift and contradiction in multi-book TTRPG systems.
When the Catalog addresses an Override Point section (e.g., Section 07: Lineages), it contains the full content for that section, opening with an explicit statement:
This section fulfills Override Point AX.C.07. The Lineage framework is defined in AX.C.07.1. The entries below are [Catalog Name]-specific Lineages built on that framework.
