Specific Profession Example

Cross-Genre Profession Example

The following example Professions use the concept of ranged combat applied across three genre settings. The core Profession identity — a Speed-dominant fighter who controls distance and supports allies through precision fire — remains consistent. What changes is the fictional framing the Genre Catalog provides.

This example demonstrates how a single Profession concept produces identical mechanical structures across genres, validating the core rules' genre-neutral design.

Note: The three entries above are mechanically identical. The fiction — bow, rifle, energy weapon — is the only difference. This is the correct behavior for a genre-neutral core Profession. Genre Catalogs may substitute Stage abilities from their Layer 2 Setting Perk list to create mechanical differentiation between genres when desired.
