Range and Distance
Combat and many abilities use abstract range bands rather than precise measurements.
Range Bands
| Range | Distance | Notes |

| Touch | Physical contact | 0 feet, requires touching target |
| Close | Same space/adjacent | 0-5 feet, melee range |
| Near | One move action | 6-30 feet, short-range projectiles |
| Far | Two move actions | 31-60 feet, long-range projectiles |
| Distant | Cannot reach in 1 Turn | 61-120 feet, extreme range |
| Remote | Requires special abilities | 121+ feet, usually impossible |
Movement
- Base Movement: 30 feet per Move action (Near range)
- Run Talent: Allows double movement as full-round action
- Difficult Terrain: Halves movement (15 feet per Move action)
- Climbing/Swimming: Typically halves movement unless skilled
Example: A character at Far range (40 feet) from an enemy uses two Move actions to reach Close range, moving 60 feet total (30 + 30).
