Org Context

The Linden-Green Trust is the world's dominant legal and financial authority, a multi-millennia institution built on the premise that Temporal Harmonics can make contracts physically binding. Every LGT profession operates inside this premise. What separates LGT personnel from everyone else is not just what they can do, but what they can make stick.

LGT characters carry institutional weight that no other org can replicate: an Axiomatic Injunction issued by a credentialed Arbiter is not a threat; it is a legal event that propagates through every signatory jurisdiction's enforcement machinery automatically. The Linden Guard's credstick is connected to the same infrastructure. The Resonance Notary's seal creates a physical law.

The cost of this weight is the LGT's cultural velocity problem: Elven time horizons produce professions built for permanence, not urgency. LGT characters plan across decades, build precedent arguments from century-old records, and experience novel situations as engineering failures rather than opportunities. They are exceptionally powerful inside their institutional framework and genuinely uncomfortable outside it.

Lineage note: LGT professions are open to all lineages, but non-Elves inside the LGT navigate a cultural context designed by and for century-lifespan thinking. A Human Arbiter is plausible and mechanically identical; they will spend their career slightly ahead of their institutional timeline and slightly behind their Elven colleagues' sense of appropriate deliberation.

LGT Design Notes

Three Temporal Harmonics professions. LGT has the highest Harmonic access density after NTC, three of five professions carry Tradition access. This reflects the LGT's institutional dependency on Covenant mechanics. An LGT that couldn't Covenant would be a law firm that couldn't draft contracts.

The Arbiter/Notary distinction is intentional and should be felt at the table. Arbiters negotiate and enforce. Notaries formalize and archive. They need each other: an Arbiter without a Notary can issue an Injunction but cannot seal the eventual resolution with full institutional standing; a Notary without an Arbiter is formalizing terms someone else negotiated. In a full LGT-affiliated party, having both is a significant capability advantage.

The Linden Guard's Persuade investment is the mechanical expression of a security philosophy unique to the LGT: force is a legal record, and legal records have consequences. Guard characters who invest in Persuade are being true to their professional training, not playing against type.

Stage 3 Pattern: Two professions use Faction Pull (Asset Auditor, Linden Guard); two use Covenant of the Accord (Arbiter, Resonance Notary); one uses Mastery (Temporal Strategist). This split reflects the LGT's dual nature, some professions culminate in institutional authority, others in personal mastery.
